Sports Podiatry

Sports podiatry / Foot & ankle injuries:

At Foot Health Podiatry, we are able to assess your sports related injuries regardless of the level or sport you play. Some of the injuries we commonly see are :

  • Plantar fasciitis/fasciopathy (heel pain)
  • Medial tibial stress syndrome (shin splints).
  • Achilles tendinopathy.
  • Morton's Neuroma & intermetarsal bursitis.
  • Paterllo-fermoal pain.

Our podiatrists will assess your injury and any underlying causes including your lower limb biomechanics (function), gait and lower limb strength.

What to bring to the appointment:

  1. Any previous imaging, reports or examinations done in the last 6 months e.g. x-rays, Ultrasound imaging and MRIs.
  2. 3 of your most worn footwear choices including work, sports and special/outgoing shoes.
  3. If you own a pair/pairs of orthotics (insoles), kindly bring them to your consult as this may assist our podiatrists with their initial assessments and management plans.
  4. A big smile on your face.

Take your first step forward
