The first step in your child’s life is always an exciting milestone to be remembered.  It is the beginning of a journey approximately 128, 000 Km (equivalent to 3 times around the earth).

It is important to know that children’s feet are always developing especially when they are still of a young age, their feet and legs can be damaged easily by incorrect footwear and socks.  

Some of the more common concerns a typical parent present with to our clinic are pes planus or “flat feet”, sore shins, knock knees and toe walking.

Our podiatrist will also be able to inform you if your child is age for stage e.g. if your child has flat feet, whether it is a developmental/normal stage of their lives or does your child need further treatment e.g. orthotics.
